awesome work on the colors and on the composition. just alittle thing: maybe the main character isn't that visible, I did not see him at first. But, oh well... that's a great work anyway.

The only thing is that you don't have a mid-ground, other than the chains. I would do some mid-ground cogs and clockwork to connect the subject to the background.

wow frank, this came out nice. i think it's one of my faves of your stuff. i think you might want to knock back that clock-hand in the middle (value-wise) because it was the first read for me and i think that would fix it.
