Chimera! <3 I am a chimera myself! Granted, not one near as intense at this. But that is my medical diagnosis; two strands of DNA in one body. If only I could breathe fire?! *sigh*

Looks good, but there's something about the lion's head on the chimera that looks different than the rest. Like it's got slightly less cartoon feel than the goat's head and definitely the serpent head. Still, really great piece!
ps. I think it's the hair of the mane more than anything. It's so detailed it looks realistic.

I don't agree with making him more cartoony. With giving him the details that you have, it draws your eye and makes him the alpha of this monstrosity of monsters. I wouldn't change a thing!
