A colourful showcase of my Unreal Tournament, (UT99), mapping work. This portal map is no longer available, my apologies.UPDATE 3RD SEPT' 2014: There was a video, but I have since deleted it.

I removed it a short while ago, I'm sorry. There's no further use for the portal map - there was an inherent flaw in a 3rd-party piece of in-map coding which rendered the whole map useless.

Aye,.. shit happens. No one is perfect, but hey, it was fun making it and to see the final piece, even if what I had uploaded here as its screenshot wasn't the final piece I ended up creating. Thanks for the show of interest, it's much appreciated.

Ahh sorry. I didn't know. I had just watched your youtube video on the map and saw your post but the names didn't match up. Great looking map. Too bad it didn't get finished. It was a great concept.

not sure what you mean by "portal", but the level itself looks brilliant. Stylish.

The definition of 'portal', thus:

2. any entrance or access to a place
Players walk up to a portal bay, the glass information screen slides back into the bay up against the wall out of the way and a teleporter comes up through the floor and audibly grants the player access. When the player steps into the teleporter of their choice, they're taken via the web to a games server they wish to play on. Details of the games server are automatically shown, in real-time, on the glass screen, (server name, player-count, map being played etc), so allowing the gamer to make an informed decision which portal they wish to enter. Make sense now?
