Apparently Santa is real or something, because I got a massive skill boost out of nowhere for Christmas. I wanted to draw, but I haven't been happy with the quality of my work lately (I've got a pending commission and the sketches I keep making look like poo on roadkill). Anyways, after seeing this awesome pic commissioned by and done by the incomparable , I really wanted to step up my game. 30 minutes later this came out as a brain fart sketch and I had to finish it!What do you guys think? Yay? Nay? Fugly? Stop writing stupid artist captions?

Sorry, bud. Had started on a note with some examples from your gallery, then got busy with my 2 jobs and forgot about it. It's still in my drafts I believe. Since then, though, with Shio I see an improvement on overall anatomy. If it sounds like BS, my bad.

No, no, I wasn't saying that you're full of BS. What I said was a saying. It means that I think you're willing to tell me what things I'm doing that aren't working, even when I say they are. Sorry for the miscommunication!
I guess I'm trying to ask how you think I'm doing art-wise. Do you still only like the designs, or do you think that my work is actually getting somewhere finally (or something like that)?

Sorry for the long silence. Yeah, your doing very well with your art. Loving Shio's look and your anatomy is also improving. I've seen that you're doing commissions as well, which is great. Helps you gain more experience drawing for others than for yourself.
