your stuff isn't mundane at all, expression varies, and i find yours packed with expression. You've got some amazing stuff.

so that's why you always have so much inspiration !
i think my inspiration is one of those butterflies that has jet engins attached to it's wings. You blink .. and it's all gone
Nice work as always fudoki. Certainly one of the more original self portraits i have seen here on devart.

I love the butterfly, the way it almost shimmers as you watch it and the beauty it seems to radiate. But i feel like it would have more of an effect if a more defined light source was apparent. The figure itself seems to distinct.

im totally digging the butterfly, its so cool!
whe i first looked at this, though - my first thought was that you hadn't really done much with the shading. then i looked closer and realized that you'd done a lot of work, but the differences weren't prominent hence making it look a little more "2-d". i'm not sure if that was the effect you were looking for, but... yeah. i personally think adding a little more contrast between skin/clothes-tones would make this picture a lot better... *shrug*

This is great work, the composition is really strong.
I think you meant the colours to be darker than you intedned. This normally happens in photoshop, the colour is auto set to CMYK, when you save to web its in RGB. resulting in the colours being washed out. If this is so then go to View> Proof setup > Monitor RGB.
now you should see the colour matching your web jog output. then use the curves : Image > adjustments > Curves. and drag the curve from the middle point to get a good balance.
