Full name: Démentia the Forgotten

Nicknames: Dem

Age: Unkown

Height: 183 cm / 6 feet

Weight: 176 pounds

Race: Demon
Orientation: Asexual

Some physical traits:

She is an albino.

Her horns are in fact part of a mask she wears.

Her left arm is the arm of a particulary strong demon she vainquished. Her own got ripped during the battle, but took the one from the demon replace hers.

Her teeth are sharp as those of a shark.

Her hair is long enough to go under her knees.

She does have a feather to represent she is part of Aka's crew. She wears it as a necklace under her clothing.

Her scarf is a magic artifact that can be use as a second pair of hands.

Personality:

Démentia is far from cheery like her sister Aka. In fact, they are quite the oposite. Démentia is more of the silent type. Talking only when necessary or when she wants to intimidate her foes. It is to wonder if she hates to talk. So much so that she doesn't like repeating herself. If she has to repeat herself because someone lacked attention, she will either not repeat herself or take them by the throat and repeat, now having their full attention. In some cases, she will prefer to let Aka do the talking, even if it might bring everyone around them crazy.

Démentia's confidence in herself is without fail. She knows her skills and trust herself in any situation. Failure isn't an option for her, even less a possibility. Intimidating her is impossible. In fact, if someone does try to intimidate her, it will rarely end well for them. They better repent and praise her or face her wrath. As such, she aks to get quite a lot of respect. She doesn't like being treated as some sort of peasant or as a commoner by some nobody. She doesn't ask to be treated as some sort of noble or royalty, but do know your place around her... In return, she doesn't like to give respect to everyone around her. She feels like they have to deserve it. Either by accomplish feats or doing services for her.

She appears neutral in most situation. She prefers to do so, saying it would give hints to her ennemies of how she feels if she did otherwise. Ence why she wears masks to cover her face. She does her best to show no weaknesses in any situation and to appear in control. She has a deep hatred for loosing. She is proud of the work she did to became an arch-demon and she is ready to anything to keep her title.

Démentia prefers to act for her own benefits. Doing something that would give her nothing or grant her no benefits is below her. She needs motivations, rewards or anything that can benefit her. She needs to feel like she is winning something. But if someone tries to wrong her by bringing her to do something, she will end them and take all the rewards possible.

She is some sort of perfectionnist. She doesn't like stay on a status quo. She needs to be in constant improvement, always climbing th ladder of life. She won't settle until she becomes the very best. To almost any prices. As you might have guessed by now, she doesn't mind hurting and killing...

Story:

Démentia comes from a low life family where there is an historic of incest. She grew, seeing her family member being some weird people, knowing something was wrong about them. They were either looking funny or acting weird. To her, only her and her sister Aka seemed normal. Aka might have been blind, but she seemed to act like a normal kid, being full of joy and exploring as much as she could the world around her. Démentia cherished her little sister so much for this as she was unable to feel happiness as she was. Everything seemed dark around her. She felt powerless, sad and miserable in this world.

But one day, Aka found a book. Even with her very little comprehension of magic, she could feel that the book was evil. Aka insisted that she reads it to her, but refused many time. After a while, Aka was able to convince Démentia to read it. It was a terrible book. An evil one. A book full of demonic rituals more terryfing than the others. Somehow, Aka got convinced to do one of them. A ritual that would allow them to go in hell and become demons themself. At that time, demons were neither evil nor good, but it was still a terrifying idea to turn into one. Demons were very powerfull beings with important responsabilities. They were just mere children. Once again, Aka was able to convince Démentia and they did the ritual. Once in hell, they found themself near a demonic statue and used it to turn into full demons themself.

From that moment, everything changed for Démentia and her sister. They were now powerful, even if they were the lowest of demons, but it didn't take time for Démentia to find how to climb in ranks within the demons. They fought, explored, created their path to greatness. Many foes have fallen under the hands of Démentia. Many relics were collected by her as well. Anything that could prove her supperiority and help her climb in ranks, she did it. It took many years, but eventually, she made it. She was an arch-demon renown and feared. She was no longer powerless and it felt great. She faced some more powerfull foes to assert her place and dominance. Now, it is impossible for her to loose her title of arch-demon. She even was able to have her own realm in hell were she could collect all the godly and demonic relics she could find. And all this, she did it by the side of her sister Aka. Never leaving her behind. Always staying close to her and helping her grew as the demon she wished to be. Even if Aka was a very chaotic demon, she did as she wished; she became a good demon. Aka even convinced her to be protectors for the incubus abd succubus, even if they were lower demons. They could use them to have fun with them. They could be friends. They could even be allies. One thing she promissed; they would never be bored with the incubus and succubus by their side. And Démentia trusted her. They were indeed interesting. Almost amusing. Being demons, but acting and thinking like mortals for the most of them. They were curious demons.

Many of them found themself in troubles within the mortals. She helped. Many of them did some mistake that changed history. She found it amuzing. Many of them talked about some legends and treasures. She found them. Some proposed to serve her to some extend. She accepted.

At the moment, there is one of them captivating her interest, but not in a positive way. Many things happened around him. Many suspicious things. She wish to shed the light on it, but somehow, this one incubi is able to make things needlessly harder. Until she finds the truth, she won't say a word. Her prey must not know she is on the hunt for him.

Other facts:

She will never admit weakness.

She consider herself as a retired demon at the moment.

She doesn't mind to kill, but doesn't do it needlessly or constantly. Where would be the fun if there was no one left to challenge her?

She nearly killed a shadow demon once, but got to steal his scythe.

She wish to be able to face a god on day and kill it, just to prove demons are as powerfull as them, if not more.

DO. NOT. HURT. AKA.

Chimera Research - Diamond in the Rough EntryAn entry for @FujeeB13 's 300 Watcher Contest. I would've had entries done sooner, but last month wasn't so kind to me, so it took me longer to think of something for at least one entry. For the unaware, this contest is where I'm to make a shining moment out of one or more of her OCs. Unlike last time I entered one of her contests, this ISN'T a last minute entry (thankfully, for my sanity). I do want to get a few more entries in, likely one or two more, depends if I'm not too distracted with everything else. For this entry, this is my interpretation of how Morgan became aware of the chimeras in Faelmon based on information from Morgan's profile. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A normal, study filled day would be just how Morgan wanted it to be. To study magic that had relatively little to no use, and turning them into a means with which to make them better. It’s what he had always been researching since his reincarnation as an incubi. However, since his now reincarnated daughter, Amentrine, left to head to the mortal realm to acquire books from there, she hasn’t returned.Although Morgan was quite concerned about her, he had already come to the conclusion that the demon hunters in the mortal realm had encountered her. There was no way it could be anything else--not even nature would likely be the culprit, it’s the humans that declared the demons to be dangerous. He waited for her return as long as he had hoped for, before giving up all that hope, and coming to the conclusion he believes in.And here he is now, continuing to help influence magic in ways that no other incubus or succubus have ever done before. Others felt like that task alone would be tedious and tiring, but to Morgan, it was just as natural as it had been from his mortal life--a pioneer in the field of magic.“I heard that the chimeras have been wreaking havoc in the mortal realm faster than their farmers can even get their crops done,” were the words that reached Morgan’s ears, causing him to stop and turn his attention to where he heard the conversation, approaching closely to eavesdrop on the conversing demons. “So I’ve heard. Things haven’t been looking good for them since winter left last month.” The other incubus replied, making a circular motion around the top of the cup with his finger out of boredom.“Chimeras…?” Morgan thought to himself, doing his best to blend in among the common folk while making it seem like he wasn’t eavesdropping. “Honestly, whoever thought it’d be great for the humans to suffer even more, when both of our kinds are just tryin’ to live life?” The incubi man questioned the other, as the other one shrugged his shoulders.“Beats me,” the second incubi said, taking the glass from the other demon and refilling the cup for him. “Either way, if those chimeras reach our realm, who knows what sort of chaos they’ll bring.” He concluded, leaving the man there to serve another customer nearby. And that was all that was needed to send Morgan off back to where he was heading. He needed to do some more studying...on the chimeras.Based on his knowledge of chimeras before, they were stated to be creatures of mythological origin--a mix of three or more animals. Humans seemed to acknowledge their existence at some point, so they would have the upper hand...but who knows how strong these chimeras are.It would take YEARS to even research one in the wild, without risking life and limb just to study it.Even then, such a task was deemed too risky for Morgan himself. He knew what he was getting himself into when beginning this project on researching the chimeras, but not even he knew where to start in capturing them. His whole experience has been around magic and spells, not animal research. To add on to that, he is mostly the type to work alone. Even sending in his magical clone, Indae, likely wouldn’t be enough to capture one. It’d probably just end up putting Morgan even more at risk if the chimera is strong enough to defeat his clone!“Damn it, think Morgan, think…” Morgan grunts to himself, trying to think of another method of capturing the mythological creatures. It only felt like forever when several fast knocks were heard. “Mr. Mooorrrrgan, are you here?” A female voice rang out, making the incubi get up from his desk and head downstairs to open the door. Before him, stood two female demons. One with orange hair and a rather happy-go-lucky-nothing-can-possibly-go-wrong smile with a purple dress, and the other with hair that covers her right eye, and a mask that covers most of her face. “Morning, Mr. Morgan~” The orange haired demon chirped cheerfully, with the other demon not saying so much as a word.“...Morning, Aka. You too, Dementia.” Morgan replied, assuming that the other demon likely would have done the same as Aka did.Without so much as a ‘come in’, Aka squeezed past Morgan and entered his home, surprising him a little bit before Dementia followed after Aka, prompting Morgan to close his door. “Aka, there’s no time to be saying good morning to everyone, especially when--” Dementia began, before Aka quickly hushed her.“When there’s rumors of dangerous creatures, don’t sweaaat about it~ Just chill, it’ll be ooooook!” The energetic demon shrugged off Dementia’s sentence, before going back to twirling in place for a bit.Sure saves Morgan the time of having to explain. “I have something to ask of you two.” Morgan spoke up, as Aka stopped her twirling, turning her attention to the purple haired incubi. “You do?” Aka questioned, tilting her head a little like a confused puppy.“Yeah. It may be dangerous, but I believe it will benefit both our realm and the mortal realm if you’ll help me out with this.” Morgan began, as Dementia glanced at him, not uttering a word quite yet.The incubi picked up the book about chimeras he was reading not too long ago. “I want you guys to go out and capture these chimeras, so we can confine them in a place where they won’t cause trouble for anyone.” He explained, adjusting his glasses a bit.“Okay! You can count on me, Mr. Morgan!” Aka exclaimed without hesitation, leaving only Dementia's response left. “Capturing, eh?" The masked demon though aloud to herself. "Sounds like a challenge I’m willing to take all the way to the heavens.” She concluded, after imagining the thrill of facing one of the chimeras. It'll keep her on top with her training, so that was more than enough of a bargain for her end to go through with this. With their reassurance, Morgan tossed the book of chimera’s towards Aka, who caught it without much trouble.“I suggest you two study up on a little bit about the chimera’s before you go charging in.” He suggested, as he started heading towards the door. “And where are you going?” Dementia questioned, causing the incubi to pause and turn to the demon girl.“I’m going to have to put in an announcement about what we’re doing. I don’t want anyone to go triggering those chimeras and causing some apocalyptic catastrophe in our realm.” Morgan explained, alluding to some sort of power these chimeras seemed to hold.“Oooooh, right, guess that’d make sense,” Aka pondered aloud. “Wouldn’t want the people to get thrown into a panic attack when we’re bringing in chimeras.” She continued, at most, guessing the reaction the other incubi and succubi would have upon seeing one in their realm. The purple haired incubi, having answered the orange haired demon’s question, left his house, taking a deep sigh of relief, before looking up at the sky. He never took time to reflect on his past, but if his mortal death hadn't happened, he wouldn't imagine himself being in this position at all in the other realm. He'll have to study more on the chimera's themselves in the following days, and find some means to try and tame them all. There HAS to be some means out there, whatever it is--that will make the task easier once he got his hands on it. Until then, having Aka and Dementia assist him with the confinement of the chimeras will have to do just fine for the time being. After standing there for a bit, he lowered his head and close his eyes, muttering to himself, “Ame… I’ll make this world better than what the two of us could ever accomplish. I’ll make you proud…” With that, he took one last deep breath before heading back into town. There was an announcement to be had regarding the chimera confinement, after all. And no one would've been more bolder than Morgan was to be the one to handle this ordeal.
