Even though I'm not into Touhou I must say this is one of those pictures that I'm just jealous of! I mean, how is it even possible to work with such great effects in a simple (Or not very simple) program?

thank you! well, it's matter of time and expirience. i've spent in MMD like 5-6 years, so i can use effects even with my poor graphic card.
also, you can manipulate some effects as you want, so it's really easy uwu

About that...I also have a very VERY poor graphics card that causes my PC to crash when loading certain effects and even though it sounds a bit strange I spent time on MMD since I was 10 years old. ( I'm 13 soon ) and didn't gather very much experience in effects..

my MMD crashes too, when i am using some effects. that's why i don't use physics - it helps to calm doqn the card. also, closing the browser is a thing too.
i was 10 when i started MMD too, and i wasn't using effects back then too. even if you look at my oldest pictures in gallery, you can see, that i don't use many effects or even don't use them at all, so i started to getting better in MME like... two years or so?

What a quincedence that you also started when being 10! At least your graphics card is still a bit better cause for me when the effect is once loaded it can't be undone and my PC just nopes out.
