That would be my left eye. Scary shit aint it!Taken using Canon 400D with Canon 50mm F1.8 with stack of extension tubes on it.
Lighting was provide by Canon Speedlite 430ex triggered by wireless "ebay" trigger

I took this one with a 50mm lens, and some extension tubes. Got the extention tubes off eBay, where cheap.

Hi,
this is a self portrait.
If I can remember correct, this was done when you take the lens off your camera, turn it around so its facing the wrong way, then take the picture..
Google reserve lens technique, or something along those lines.. should give you some goo information
I used a flash to speed the shutter speed up, you can see the reflection of it in my eye..

Wow... at first I thought it's cgi... It seemed too chaotic to be real, but it is... Great shot! It is something creepy about the fact it's real eye though

Does look rather strange, think it was because the flash was from the left, so it produced some shadows and gave it depth... but don't quote me on that... i might just have a freaky eye!

Whoa trippy. I've never seen an Iris with so many... "fibers". Seriously those little lines that a spaced around the retina are more or less uniform as they run to and from it normally but yours is a crazy mess.
