Description just playing with how to represent an egyptian goddess for a myth illustration; i really dislike her head, but the posture feels good to me.

it'd be cool if you did the backgound like her standing in grass or a ground or something at night, but when you really strain and look closely at the detail, you can see the ground is a large landscape... i dunno, maybe that would make her look too much like a giant and not contribute to the moon thing directly enough. but it's kind of an idea that just pooped out when i saw it.

i'll show you the final sketch-y thing when you pick up your book, there's a bunch of stuff in the actual myth that keeps her from touching the earth in certain ways, but the final sketch is closer to your suggestion than whatever you read into the character sketch.
