...mostly because i happen to really like drawing this way, and because i'll almost defintely like this more than the final itself. which is gonna be in charcoal. bleh.(pimlico is a race track in baltimore, for those that don't know)

Eee, pimlico! I love that track best, the grounds are gorgeous. I've never been but back in the days when I had actual free time on my hands I used to watch the Preakness every year, yup yup. :3 I love this pic, it reminds me of like, the beginning of race day when the grooms are out walking the horses in the morning. n_n

that was definitely the feel that i wanted, pimlico was one of the 'trips' that my journalism class took this semester... i'd never been or seen any races before, it was a curious experience.

Kyaa, I'm jealous. I've always wanted to go. Awesome that you got to. Horse races are definitely something that are curious to witness and experience, but there's something about them that.. I dunno, is kind of neat.
