Man, I absolutely love the detail in this picture! The whole thing is gorgeous, and I really like how clean and realistic everything is.
I want to give some kind of constructive criticism or suggest some things but nothing's really coming to mind - I'm agreeing with though. The eyes are probably a good place to start if you want to make him look more Japanese.

Yeah, it's looking good! Although I think that maybe the lower part of his eye should be a little bit... uhh... Hideo Kojima-er: [link] That is to say, like, I guess tweak the outline of the lower part of his eye? Basically make it a tiny bit narrower.
Basically at present I do think it looks better, but it does look a little like he's got his eyes narrowed a tiny bit, or like he just didn't have them open quite as much as he did in the previous version. It's getting close, though! Making that eyelid outline thingy above his eye thinner or generally less emphasized might help? Does that make any sense? I was looking up pictures of Japanese people and it seems like it's generally pretty small or just not really there to begin with, like in that picture of Kojima up there.
I HOPE THIS HELPS, but I'm pretty afraid that I'm not making sense aaahh

ok I tried to fix his eyes a bit more, i think thats as far as im gonna take this because there's other things i want to paint, but i really appreciate all the advice you gave me and i hope you'll keep giving it on future works : )

even though this was only to be a 2 hour practice thing I want to change the eyes sometime after I finish my homework

this is soooo nice, i love pomps on men, ugh hufffff.
im pretty sure this would look more japanese if the eyes were err...more squinted (no offense to anyone), and maybe a slight toning of the bone structure, though i think its fine the way it is, bone structures vary widely among people anyways.
