how did you get the oil painting texture to look so real? That is incredible.

ItΒ΄s sharpened up a bit, then the layermode turned to screen, if my memory doesnΒ΄t fail me, and the opacity just dropped down a bit. ThatΒ΄s it.
Plus thereΒ΄s a couple of nearly invisible textures in the mix to make the whole thing a little darker. But those can be achieved using the normal adjusting options, they donΒ΄t have to be created with textures.

The texturepart is inspired by a few of your pieces, especially a few you submitted to your wallpapergallery. Liked the feel of those and wanted to try out and create something similar.
