Description
This is a really messy animation test, but I'm proud of it nonetheless and don't feel any intuition to further it so here u goAnywho fun fact, I have a large phobia of mirrors because they trigger my dissociation pretty badly :,^)
I mean, I can tolerate them?? But I hate looking at them, they make my skin crawl and I can't ever recognize that person in it
God tho it gets fucking worse when I watch videos of myself
The physical disconnect is so potent, it makes me feel ill and triggers intense body dysmorphia, and i feel disgusted with myself :/

You say this is messy but I think it adds to it in a way- you most recent art has been some of your most interesting and intense and it's really really cool my dude
I feel this really intensely occasionally
but goodness that's really hard, I read the other comments and stuff and I'm glad you're talking about it- or actually really making stuff like this out of it because this art is really powerful

Thank you so much!!! I'm glad you like it! ;v ;
Yeah!! I've wanted to express this for so long, but felt ashamed. I'm owning it
now because it's just such a big part of me, almost who I am, but not quite. My dynamic
with the symptoms I experience is bizarre, but through art I kind of figure out how it is
apart of me, but what of me is apart from it, if that makes sense. I just feel better when
I do it, and it feels good to get it out. I feel a little bit more in control when I have my
experience out there on the canvas. It's like a translation for people to finally understand
me a bit better, and I'm finally able to get at least some people to understand but yeah
that's my ted talk for the day lmfao. I'm glad you've been liking my art!!!

SORRY IT TOOK ME SO LONG TO REPLY
I feel that, I feel the intensity and emotions of the works but
I also feel the weight- it seems really sincere to me if that makes sense?
I do think art is a good way of like... talking, that's really what it is!
I have a lot to say but such a small character limit- but this is really good
and i'm glad it's good for you too <3
OFC!! I LOVE IT

UR OK!!!
Yeah!! Art is another form of language, so it can translate at times
to people who at least can understand it. And I think that the more
intimately an artist knows an experience,(whether it be from research,
hearing a friend talk about it, or experiencing it first hand) the more
authentic the picture turns out ;v ;
Thank you so much!!!

Mirrors are pretty weird man, I'm not afraid of them but I have a similar situation where just the idea the person I'm seeing is my body is just... hard to believe? I forget I'm a person sometimes and seeing myself in a mirror or in pictures just never feels right. It's hard to explain lol.
Loving your recent art too, I like your emotional/experimental stuff a lot!!

YEAH!!! JUST THIS PHYSICAL DISCONNECT whERE LIKE
uGH, your mind is disconnected and you don't recognize the
person looking back at you in the mirror!! It's nearly caused me
to like... "fall"...out of my body when I had a breakdown and
made the mistake of going to the bathroom. I legitimately felt like
my spirit was slipping outside of my body and that I was fainting.
NOT fun lol, so I try and avoid mirrors when I'm not in a good mood
:V
Thank you so much!!! I'm glad you do!! I've been having fun with
it. I think I'm gonna try and name the aesthetic

You poor thing. I never knew that. I hope you can learn to overcome it one day because the pictures I've seen on your facebook certainly lead me to think otherwise (you're so pretty seriously!!!)
Amazing work

Yeah, I've been very quiet about it until recently. My therapist suggested me drawing
about my MI and symptoms in order to help me better understand them. Thank you
though!! I feel pretty, but its just hard to look in mirrors and recognize myself, a part
of the way my brain learned to develop because of my troubled childhood I suppose :V
But yeah! I'm hopefully on the way to recovery!! It's hard, but the only way to fix
yourself is to pick out the pieces that don't fit ;v ;

Yes!! Venting and getting it out helps process what is upsetting us, and maybe
sometimes even help us identify the problem and solutions for it uv u
Ahh!! I gotcha! There's a way to crack Photoshop Creative Cloud, and the
best way I learned to paint in PS was through this guy!! www.ctrlpaint.com/
He basically taught me basic rendering skills in photoshop, and then I went off from
there and found brushes best suited for my style~ It can be a bit confusing at first,
but the best way to learn is to have both the main art program you use, and then
also try photoshop occasionally and experiment in it!!
