Description
I have seen "90s Kids" pop up on many"worst fandom" lists.
They think 90s Kids say things like "TODAYS CARTOONZ
SHIT BECAUS JONY TEST BREDLOSERS AND TEEN TITANS GO
I WISH THINGS WERE LIKE BAK THEN"
While I am indeed a 90s Kid (I was born in 1985)
and I do get "childhood feels" over some things, I don't
shove them in everybody's face or make younger
people feel bad for liking more modern things.
You know what I do to satisfy my nostalgia fix? YouTube.
There were actually many things I did NOT like about the 90s,
in fact; I actually feel more nostalgic about the early 2000s.
I just thought I'd speak my mind as one of the few SANE
90s fans out there.

Yes! I agree. As much as I prefer the 1998 Powerpuff Girls to the 2016 ones, I don't judge, attack or insult others that think differently. Not even you.

I love 90's anime the most, but some modern anime are fine, like JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and Ushio and Tora.
Though when i compare anime like Sorcerer Stabber Orphen... i feel like 90's one was more crisply drawn and just looks overall better.

New one's shading is lighter while shine is almost non-existent... i prefer the old one, since it's shading is more detailed and there are more thick lines.
I still do enjoy some of 2010's anime, and i grew up with 00's cartoons and anime...
Only by 2010's i started watching some 90's anime... and by 2017 i realized that i prefer 90's anime, videogames and cartoons in general, even though i'm a 00's kid.

I'm the 2000s kind, actually.. but I don't see why people would make the young ones feel bad about cartoons and music in their own generation..that's just being mean..
(rn I'm randomly 'binge-viewing' on your artworks )

good to see that not everyone is so blind sighted by they're nostalgia for the 90's. despite being born in the 2000's I do like most of the 90's shows from CN and Nick, I just don't go out of my way to shove it in other's faces and preach how much better they are compared to the modern shows today, because they're really not all that different. On top of that, people shouldn't be quick to judge aand hate a reboot before it even premeires and stop comparing other reboots of 90's series like PPG 2016, Ben10 2016, and Thundercats roar to TTG because they're not all the same as they might think and latter isn't even out yet. To quote Youtuber Lily Orchard "reboots aren't made for you, they're being made for the younger generation of today. DVD releases are made for you".

Tell me about it. As much as I love the 90's cartoons and other shows, I personally don't mind the 2000's cartoons and shows as well cause I grew up in both periods as well.

You know, you're probably right, I'm a 90s type person and I like to draw doesn't mean that I'm a nostalgiatard.

I'm a 90s kid, but I seriously don't get them. I love a lot of 90s things, but I love a lot of 00s things and New 10s things, and I am nostalgic for all of them, I even have nostalgia for years during that year (e.g. I got nostalgic for 2016 things during 2016.)
I also hate this "Only 90s kids remember!" nonsense, especially as most of what they attribute this to carried on into the 2000s or has had reruns after the 90s ended. We are not the only ones to remember things, or to care about them. In fact, I think 90s kids defeat themselves, as they have to ruin the comments of the YouTube videos of shows they grew up with by talking about "those poor kids today who have no good shows." Below is three things I want to say to these 90s kids;
Firstly, they do.
Secondly, some of them probably watch this stuff too.
Thirdly, just enjoy your childhood nostalgia! Isn't that what you came here to do?!

I just want these people to give modern things a chance instead of pushing it away because of the style of humor changing to fit the children of today.

It's like: "Seriously? You're not even going to know what children that never saw the original cartoons would think? Not everything revolves around you people."

I definitely love the 90s stuff, ESPECIALLY music, and I enjoy early 00s stuff as well but even though I wish I could go back at the age I am now and relive it, I'm not a nostalgiatard. It makes me cry, sure. It makes think, sure. It makes me remember so much stuff, sure. To do anything other than talk about it with those who feel the same and laugh or cry about it is absurd. That's all memories are for, to react to them. I did not know people shoved it down other's throats. That's just stupid. Memories are to be cherished and sometimes shared, not forced into someone's mind. It's not the best decade because no decade is the best. It's just what the current generation remembers and loves. Plain and simple. The fact of the matter is, future generations will never truly understand what previous generations love about their nostalgia, even if they can live it themselves now. It just doesn't have the same effect. It's the same for older generations about current ones; they just don't get it. We love what we love no matter what.

The truth is, I'm fucking sick of people here generalizing
all 1990s/early 2000s Kids as nostalgia-nazis constantly
whining for their precious decade to come back.
I am NOT like that. >:[
Yes, I love TV shows/music from my childhood, but
I also know they were not perfect and just like everything
else, it's all a matter of preference.
I like a lot of new stuff too, and I am open to change.

Agreed. Not everyone who were actually born in the 90s are like that.
As for the word "Nostalgiatard", it sounds more like a term for Nostalgia Critic fantard. XD
At least 90stard would make more sense.
Nostalgia isn't just the 90s.

It's called an opinion and preference.
You like what makes you happy and nobody
can change that.
I'm a 90's kid and some of the early 2000's
and up are good as well.
I do like some modern things to, I'm like a mutt.
I mix random things up and like a whole lot.

I understand what you say. I've had to deal with several people who were young in the 90's and they currently love to bash people of my age (and even younger) for various reasons.
Just ignore them. Is the best remedy.
