No, but quite a few episodes were indeed influenced
by animeΒ and some PPG merchandise had Japanese
(and sometimes Chinese!) text.

Oh, that's ok. I know there is a Japanese variant of this show, (i think it's called Powerpuff Girls Z), that doesn't resemble this particular version at all. But yes, i can why this show would have so much success in Japan.
