Submission categories are teh suk.I probably shouldn't submit this until I've cleared the rest of my inbox, but whatev.
This is for my Animation project for the summer. It involves coming up with 6 story ideas and this is a character from one of them. More info and stuff in the scraps.
I may have to fix the colours, they look odd on the screen I'm on.
Anyway, I wanted to go with something more cartoony than my usual style and it turned out being really fun to do

Yep. The Proud Family is what I thought of first when I saw this. And. That makes me love this even more. For some reason I like this a whole bunch. and I'm not a huge fan of people characters. You did an awesome job designing her.

Love the style, it looks completely different to what I've seen you do before. The only thing I'm not sure about are the colours as they blend together quite a bit. Maybe lighten it or darken it a couple of tones? I could be wrong though and it just looks different on my monitor to how it will on paper.

I wanted to try something totally different. My anime style is pretty hard to animate with quickly and I need to be more diverse. This style is really fun to work with
I agree with you about the colous, they seem to be mixing together a bit too much. It looked fine on my monitor but not the one I'm on. I'll probably play about with it some more until it looks right
