Description
Finally got this sucka finished!Well, I think so, anyway. The brightness is different depending on if I'm looking at this at work or at home, so I can't be sure if it's too light or too dark or whatnot.
Anyway, this is what the last few posting to my scraps have been working up to. It wouldn have been done sooner but I took a short break from it for a while.
It still has a few issues in terms of perspective and such, but overall I'm kinda pleased with how it came out. Certainly learned a few things from it to take into the next one I do that's detailed like this.
And there will be more. I'm still looking to push my background drawing skills.

This is very realistic. So cool and I bet the story is awesome. The colors are very cool and the effects are amazing. Purple is an awesome color and your characters seem very original. Though, I don't really get what's the electric thing in Shadow's hand and why Blade's swords are...well, purple. Did you do that for more effect?

Yes and no. The swords are purple since they're custom made for her and match up with her name of Violet Blade. One of those 'appearance matching the name' sorta deals. The electric thing is essencially a stun baton.
With both of them, the glowing effects are there to make them pop a bit more visually

It'll be read like a regular comic, though I'll probably take cues from manga and anime with how I style things.
I'm still working on the story so there's nowhere to read it yet, but I'm hoping to get that started up sometime in the future

Love the cover man, if your ever worried about it looks you could always do small print previews of it to check how it looks.

do linear drawings for the cover. This will catch eyes and make people think about checking it out.

Yeah, so if I ever saw this as a comic book cover, I'd buy it. Quickly. And whatever was associated with it. Way awesome, man. Dig the lighting and solidity of the figures and how they interact so smoothly with the background.

It does come across somewhat bright, but it isn't damaging. Actually, I think it adds a layer of tone to the piece. It has been great seeing your progress on this and even better to see it all finished!

The perspective for the background and the characters are dead on. What if one (or both) of the characters had a cut from the glass? Not that it needs to be extreme or huge...but just a small slit to show that the action is gettin' intense?

I'm sure when you finally get White Shadow in comic form it will be full of awesomeness. I will definitely get some copies when that happens. As for the several page shorts you did I really like those. They make me want to know more about the story. The ones that really stood out for me were the ones you have titled "What I Live For" [link] and "Memories" [link]

Wow, those are oldschool, lol! The story in my head has changed slightly from what's in What I Live For, but the basics are still the same. I like to think that I can produce better writing these days, but I'll need to actually finish more comic pages
