Inspired by Sonic Advance 3. I got a Gameboy Advance SP over Christmas so I've been playing this a lot
This is how I like to imagine the relationship between these two. They've been together since back in the day when Sonic was on the Mega Drive (Genesis) so I see them as having an unbreakable bond similar to that of brothers.
I'm getting to know Open Canvas better so I wanted to use it to colour this one. This is actually one of the best colourings of Sonic I've done so far, though I looked at the cover of Sonic Adventure DX to help me out. I like how I've shaded their fur and Sonic's spines, and how I drew their faces. I think I'm starting to find my style for drawing sonic characters which I something that I had a little trouble with before (i mean drawing them in my style, not official style).
Anyway, I'm in the process of colouring an Amy Cream and Cheese pic, and hopefully I'll draw and colour the last two in this series pretty soon

Edit: Added silhouette outline around them. Intent to do this in the first place but I forgot.
