I believe this is the first fully coloured image of Violet I've done. She's Felicia Nightshade's rival - a match for her and terms of speed and skill, and a cold yet calculated psychopath.I had tried to colour this once before but I really hated it. I think it turned out much better this time around, although the light source is off. If you're wondering what that blue glow is by her ears, it's an electromagnetic chain on her ear rings.

EDIT: Added some backlighting on the fur and hair, thanks to the suggestion from *Kairi-Moon , and fixed the shadow on her legs. Also got the dust effect looking much better. The print will be updated to this.

I would say that this is unbelievable, but I always expect work like this as usually. It's constantly inspiring me to do such great coloring like this; I'm still not there yet though. Is this the same technique you used in the last picture I commented for you, or is the one base coloring technique? It looks like it to me, but I can never really tell.

Actually I'd say it was almost a mixure of both. I used the technique in this tutorial to do it: [link]
Basically it's almost the same as the Final Frantasy pic with having a layer for each colour, but like the base colour technique when it comes to shading. It uses layer and clipping masks and is pretty useful. I've been using it for the last few pieces.

I can't colour n' stuff, I reeaaaly suck, but I made up a super hero (or something like that) that has her swords behind her back. She's not that vicious though! I realy like yours!
