"Sam! Find the killswitch!"
Fran had decided to be extra charitable this year and dress up a Mrs. Claus to hand out presents around the campus. To help her with the task, she'd used her robotics expertise to create the Helperbots which would carry many of the gifts, acting like her own little elfs. Just to be on the safe side though, she decided to give them a test run indoors before taking them outside.
It's just as well she did.
A slight glitch in their network AI caused them all to start running rampant around the house, generally causing mayhem. It must have taken an hour to round them all up again.

A double achievement for me on this one. The first being that I started and finished this pic at short notice, and the second being that I've finally got a completed image showing Fran and her fabled skill with robotics!

As an engineer myself, my heart goes out to poor, poor Fran! Β She was probably giddy with excitement given nothing had exploded the moment these little devils began to run amok. Β I'm sure the lot of them earned a lump of coal in their stockings! One thing I can't help but notice that is really different from the last pictures....her teeth seem much more detailed and you can see almost every individual tooth. I also don't see her buck teeth. I thought she had them...oh well though I prefer cartoon smiles to be mostly white, this is still so freaking beautiful!

I've got into the habit of drawing teeth with more detail lately, mostly with these pinup images like this one. I don't recall drawing Fran herself with buck teeth, but it's something I might gradually start adding in, kinda like how Rapunzel's teeth were in Tangled.

Ah sweet. Though I did like and even prefer the pearly whites with no lines in between simulating individual teeth, I really like the new designs.

You could always just shut them down and disconnect their legs to be sure. They shouldn't be able to get that far in that case.

They're causing all kinds of trouble, and it looks like they don't have any intention of slowing down!
On a side note; I couldn't resist adding the red trim as you can see. This is your doing, you know. You put the idea there and made me do it... It looks better now, but still!

You should also know that I am seriously considering doing something with those helper bots. And if past events have been any indication, it probably won't end well for whoever is involved.

They seem like fun little characters to play about with, so they've definitely gotta show up more. Now I'm curious what ideas you've got for them.
And now I fear for my mind if you can get into it that easily. Maybe it's just what happens when I'm tired and you suggest things, but I think it might end up giving you some kind of weird superpower over me now...
