Here is a mix of things i drew a few days or weeks ago. Today s been the day i felt like using my color pencils.I ve been recently asked to create badnik designs for a fan game project called Sonic Gemini. This game should have sonic and metal as playable characters.
Which leaded me to draw a few gameplay concepts (even if i wasn't ask to, sorry, i was inspired ^^). Here are some of them.
The logo "Sonic Twins" is something made just for fun and pleasure to do a sonic logo ^^ And thought this name sound good! ^^ (And a bit related to the gemini project, as twins and gemini means the same thing).

Ben j pense que pour un jeu en 2D sonic, ca apporterait de la fraicheur au gameplay. Avec des phases traditionnelles basées sur le speed, et d autres plus innovantes avec de la coopération pour progresser. J'ai plein d idées sympas, mon seul défaut, ben... C'est que j'suis pas dans la Sonic Team XD

Metal and Sonic in a team up? I can see gameplay elements now between them as a duo.

yay, with interactions between them. one needing the other to go through different places ^^ and having metal not as "just a metallic copy of sonic in terms of gameplay" would be great! ^^

I can see it working, shame the games now don't really allow for that kind of gameplay. Plus the characters themselves are on two different ends of the spectrum as far as sides goes.

that s what could make it interesting, have to team up even if they re enemy, to fight a bigger threat ^^
