Description
This is one of the last images I did before my computer stopped working. And sadly it's not even finished because I didn't get to colour the cats' lines the way I wanted to.For the record, I did NOT draw these cats; I just coloured them. The lines are free lineart from
Anyways this is my Clan's first true group of apprentices following the storm that killed off the rest of their clan. Even though Cougarflash was techinically the first kit to become an apprentice following the storm, she spent the later half of her apprenticeship alone (after Tumblefoot became a warrior); in other words she was never part of a group like these cats! Plus these cats were also the first born following the storm, so they have a lot of signfinance to their older Clanmates.
I don't really know what else to say about these cats. They were among the first cats I ever created, starting out as kittens. I orginally didn't want to age them, but I found myself doing that anyways. Even though they are warriors, two are parents, and two more were mentors, I still regard them as some of the younger warriors.
Duskcloud and Goosewing are the sole survivors of a epidemic that killed their littermates and another litter of kits. They are close in age, though Goosewing is nearly one month older, and are about 3-4 months older than the five other cats pictured.
Rainbowpelt, Splashwhisker, Sunshower, Swiftrain, and Frostfeather are half-clan littermates, born outside their mother's clan and later adopted back in at 3 months of age. Despite being partially raised by their father, they never considered themselves anything else but members of their mother's clan. Both their parents paid a heavy price for their actions, even though it was the only way to insure that their kits would survive the epidemic.
Rainbowpelt and Frostfeather are girls; the rest are boys.
Lineart is from

Update:
Let's see how many people actually LOOKED at my art. Zero. Typical.
Six faves, zero comments-- despite the fact IT SAYS TO COMMENT FIRST ON THE IMAGE!!

I like the name Frostfeather! Why hadn't I thought of that?

Lol, I like torbies that have her type of markings. They're so much easier to do than the other ones!

I love the markings on Slashwhisker.
The two thin stripes on Frostfeather's head are a nice touch, too.

They're different, I'll give Splashwhisker that much. I don't think I've ever seen a cat come close to having markings like his though. So much for realism...
Those two stripes just started showing up on Frostfeather a few months after I created her. I thought they were too cute to leave out afterwards.
Thanks for commenting.

Well you said to comment before faving so I figured I would.
I have a question. Do you have a fanfiction with your cats in it?

I have stories about them, but I haven't posted anything yet. I kind of like drawing scenes from them more.

Yeah. I would love to draw scenes from them, but I'm not that great at drawing cats. >> I mean I know practice makes perfect, but... I have other projects I'm working on now.

Really? I can't get Duskcloud's 'M' stripe on his forehead to look right in Paint.
I'm glad you like them though.
