Hmm....
very interesting image. It has a lot of great aspects to it (altough it also has a few minor things that makes me go twitch). Ah where to start...
Let's start on the parts that bother me. There is something about Remus's look... is it... does it seems like his nose isn't really centered between his eyes? And the other thing that bugs me is his hair line (the one on his forehead where the hair starts to appear) does not seems leveled (it looks like on his right side of the head the hair starts much higher up than on his left side, I say this by comparing the distance from the upper eye to where the hair should start to grow). Pheonix's glasses seem angled too (the top edge of them seems to be closer to her face than the bottom edge), and her left hand's fingers ended up rather small compared to her right hand's... =/ Ah well... small things that aren't easy to notice until it is too late, perhaps...

Well now that that is over, I can move on to the good qualities of the image. As someone mentioned before, her pose is very good... it's charming in it's own might. The expressions of the characters does seems pretty spot on as PockyNeko herself stated. The best part... as usual... are the colors. The highlights on her cloak are just... delicious. The book's cover looks awesome too. When it comes to colors, it's hard to say anything other than "it looks great and I love it".. because it is true. The background stone tones are very well chosen and look pretty genuine to me. His coat looks very neatly shaded as well... (altough maybe it could need a bit more of a ranged shaded on the top of his shoulders, as it is they seem a bit... flat? And I am not sure why his coat becomes so dark around his neck... maybe it's some lightning issue which I have not taken into consideration yet). Their hairs... ah... everyone says it all the time. They are great, of course. ^^ Hmm.... one last thing.. should a tie really shine so much? It kinda seems made of plastic from the way it shines (I just do not think ties should be shiny like that).
In the end... it is a great image. I am still mesmerized by the richness of the shading for Pheonix's cloak... haven't seen shades of black so great and fitting in a long time....

I love how Pheonix turned out, you got everything so perfectly! Her too big of clothing, her skinny frame, her hair looks so untamable. And you made her look so pretty. And the expression of Remus is all: Hehh.... I got chocolate and yooooooou don't. And Pheonix is all: Eww... chocolate. -_-' It's so perfect I tell you. PERFECT. And you can call me Dacotah. Or Daco-chan. Not to mention the shading, the poses and everything. I wish I could say more but, well, I just woke up and I'm so overwhelmed with happiness. So I think a +LOVEHEARTFAVE will have to cover the rest. -dies of happiness- PLEASE FORGIVE ME FOR MY SLOW HALF. Draco turned out decent!
