A panel from the upcoming issue of Transformers Timelines Issue 6: The Stunti-Con-Job. Cheetor and Rat(tle)trap together again! But as you can see, it is not exactly a happy reunion!This is the official continuation of the Animated story, dubbed Season 3.5 by writer Marty Isenberg. Story consult and Art direction by Transformers Animated Art Director Derrick J. Wyatt.
The comic will be sold initially at BotCon 2011 in Pasadena, Ca.

Awesome! Now all we need is to have those two go up against Waspinator and Blackarachnia and it'll be a perfect continuation of Animated. Either way I am really looking forward to reading this comic.

That is an amazing piece of artwork! The lines are brilliant, and the colouring is spectacular. Makes me wish I was getting the toy and the comic. It looks to be a good read.

Very nice indeed. Love that we once again have stasis cuffs getting slapped on an Animated bot: they are the perfect weapon for Autobots and it is good to see said Autobots actually developed a non-lethal way to readily shut down a perp or an enemy soldier (even if they can be buggy).
As for why Rattletrap would be going by Rattrap now... besides a possible derogatory nickname, it could simply be a nickname (he certainly looks the part) or an alias. He could even be debating taking a risk by getting an organic form to hide from a deal gone very bad... like with Decepticons.

the art on this is phenomenal! I'm always a fan of "warped" perspective being used effectively, as was done with the curved horizon/floor. It gives a sense of being right in the face of the action, which really pops out in this image. THe colors are also fantastic. I'm always amazed at how simple highlighting and shading can really bring out the little nuances of good art.
