Throwing it back with this drawing with Monster High! This was my favorite doll line growing up, and I'm thankful for it to have existed. I've collected dolls from 2011-2017, and I have close to a hundred! Unfornuately, I stopped collecting when certain ones I didn't have became hard to find/afford, and I don't feel like it's worth it anymore. The shelf where I keep much of these dolls is still in my room, but I'd rather not stress about taking them down. Overall, Monster High has been very special to me, and every now and then, I revisit those times before their reboot series was cut short at 2018 (I personally believed it had potential, but not everyone was willing to give it a chance).

Anyways, I decided to draw three of my favorite Monster High ghouls, who were also my first dolls; Draculaura, Lagoona Blue and Frankie Stein. The colors may be a little off and I didn't feel like cleaning up all the sketch lines, but I'm happy with the outcome. There is still a couple things I'd go back and change, but maybe some other time. This is the first time I've drawn Monster High in years and with a drawing I'm proud of. I did take some creative liberities drawing these ghouls. For Draculaura, I gave her pink bows in her ponytails just to add a little something extra cute. For Lagoona, I decided that a pearl would sit in the flower in her hair. As for Frankie, a couple extra stitches around her right wrist and I made her dress a little longer. I'm hopeful to draw Monster High again someday. I'm always gonna be a fan at heart, even if I talk about other stuff like TMNT, Sanders Sides, Steven Universe, and just recently, My Hero Academia.
