Description

The concept of 'Souls' has actually been a HUGE part of almost all my plot rps. I always tried to go into pretty good depth, giving most of my characters descriptions of their soul that included outer colors/textures, a core and all sorts of other things. Whatever it took to make up what that character was really like. And personally I've always believed characters have what they show and what they really are inside. Sometimes the difference is great, sometimes not so much, but everyone has things they keep to themselves.
ANYWAYS

I tried and tried and triiiiiiiiiiied to portray this more than a few times. Always using Arlen.. and always failing.
But then I saw some 'cards' for an otome game that had this style that was sort of mucha but still anime, and with great line work and minimal coloring (far less than I actually put here 8'D ). So wanted to do something like that, what with the meaningful flowers and all. Contemplating the flower choice also got me thinking on the soul aspects again.. and I eventually decided to try and mash the two together somehow.
And not start with Arlen OTL
he's too complex for the first one =A=

So I went with Cay.. oh Cay.. there is something about you that I just LOVE yet when it comes to playing you, its always so difficult. Maybe its his design? it being one I actually like all over (so far, still.. my opinion may change later down the road 8D ) Either way~ Fairy unicorn it was~~ And I'll be damned if those lines didn't turn out sexy. I love that style, but its so much work ><

Anyways... enough blah blah.. have the meaning description~!

Roses and Thorns: (Yeah.. I know roses dont actually grow like that, but one of those cards I mentioned earlier had them displayed like that and I thought it was perfect. Originally I was going to use fuschia flowers.. but this, again, was perfect.) Delicate blooms represent the gentle background of his unicorn heritage, the purple color adding a mysterious undertone. Thorny vines coil around him in a mirror of his Unseelie heritage; the royal family's call sign being that of wicked thorns woven into their crown, throne and even magic. Both of them loop together in a somber but beautiful manner, mirroring his inner duplicity.

Soul spectrum: Cay's core is that of a warm, honey color. Crystallized into glittering clusters it come across both sharp and fragile at the same time, though with recent events it appears to be hardening and becoming stronger. Around the center flows a dark purple that seems to be thick but soft. It is speckled through with countless pricks of light, lending the almost dark, gel like consistency a bit of abrasiveness and flash.

In the bg are some magic circles made material, as runes are his usual magic method.

Super huge big thanks to Dx33x for taking some time to teach me what I needed in flash to make this work 8D and then some~~ Even though for this, I just played with the file she made, for the next I hopefully will be able to do myself ouo <333
