My third Steampunk corset made from 2.5mm leather ( 3.5mm leather, brass and saddlery/bootmaking fittings, and my first attempt at an over the bust corset. This is for the airship's Engineering Officer.Design:

My only issue is more of a personal one than an aesthetic one... an Engineering Officer wouldn't have such poofy sleeves... can you imagine trying to work on any of the technical bits with those huge, poofy sleeves? That's just BEGGING to have your arm ripped off by getting caught in a giant gear...

I pondered making one, myself, but then I saw that they are becoming VERY popular these days, so I decided against it. Mechanical arms are now right up there with airship pirates and gears on things.
