Description This is a scan of an Ilford XP2 negative I took last year. I should see if I can rescan it, as the commercial job was definitely lacking depth, but I got this apocalyptic version out.

Again, it's a bit of a different feel to an image for me, but I really like the darkness and the starkness.

Gloomy is always good. All these people looking for the beautiful... they are chasing unreality. Gloom is something to revel in, and it is everywhere, so why should we not celebrate it?

I had to really work the clouds hard, as they were over-exposed in the negative, but a combination of editing in RAW first, then a tiff version, with CS3, ACDSee Pro2 and swearing a lot seemed to have coxed some detail out.
