Wendy tells Houdini that looking cute is a tactic that will not work - if he wants to get up on the couch he has to climb up himself rather than begging for a lift.Wendy is a friend and Houdini is a 5 week old kitten of one of her cats, Tilly.
Shot using a SB-600 flash mounted on the camera and bounced off the ceiling.

Hah, I'm not sure the little trouble maker was doing it out of politeness.
He was called Houdini because his amazing ability to escape from anywhere, although a few weeks after I took this photo they renamed him "Dennis" short for "Dennis The Menace" as he was such a trouble maker! Apparently in his new home, with his sister "Princess", he's been as good as gold though.
