I've recently watched The Super Mario Bros. Movie and it was epic. Princess Peach didn't end up marrying Bowser, and it was a good thing she didn't. She would never want to marry her kidnapper who kept her hostage in the dungeon of his castle. But it is a possibility she would marry Mario, her true love. Now I know what you're thinking. A plumber and a princess together? Who says a princess can only marry royalty? Anything is possible in the Mushroom Kingdom. I played a little Mario back in my childhood and I've always theorized the idea of these two possibly being in love. And considering the multiple times Mario rescued her majesty Princess Peach over the years, it doesn't sound too far from the truth. For now, we will just have to wait and see if Nintendo will confirm it. Now sit back and relax as these famous video game icons show off their straight pride.
