A little collab as requested by
It was his ovservation that the rays seem to cut off so i guess thats intresting 
Orginal is 2400x1800 with curves done is PS
Terrain, surface map and water done by
Atmosphere, Camera surface and terrain tweaks done by me.

atmosphere is top notch, the clouds in the back right look a little weird, but i understand you can't always get around that. the terrain design is excellent too (props to your partner on that!) but i can say i don't like the slight jagginess in the back right (but hey, shit happens when you render, right?) surface textures are great, but two complaints about the water. a) it's really pixelated/jaggy... (i wonder what patch sharpness does?) and b) the shoreline is kinda... well it's not really there, is it? there's a little foam (his departemnt, right? lol) but not enough imho. and there's no darkening of the land where the water would wetten it (like you so rightly informed me about). other than those slight little pissy objections i always seem to find, this is an excellent render. definately a

lol. cool. but i think a monthly basis is too often. i think that people will rush and i think their works would look better if they put more time into it, maybe packs should come out on a quarterly basis? (every three montsh). well i dunno, just a suggestion... and afterall you are an admin... so do what you what.

Sky is beautiful, incredibly dramatic. I think you ought to have run a statistical filter on the terrain though - the shore is blocky. Just a technical thing

Nice atmospheric setting. The colors in the scape are great, as is the overwelming brightness in the sky. But sad to say that the shore line is way to sharp to be believable as is the foam in the distance..

The water seems to reflective, meaning it is to much of a bright white/yellow color. I dont think the sand looks bad and I like the water receding off the beach.

not bad. i never liked 'sand' closeups. they always look ugly to me on Terragen. nice atmosphere tho, eheh.
