Bubbles Utonium is one of the three superheroine triplets of Professor Utonium, a visionary head-scientist in Townsville's science department for supernatural discoveries, affiliated with the Plumbers and Providence.
Bubbles always was the cheerful, optimistic and naive child of the three, leaning into a peaceful approach , supported by numerous instances she ended battles on peaceful terms, leading to her unique skill, understanding mythical creature's tongue.
Other than her superhuman abilities Bubbles showed to understand most of the monsters she were fighting against, sometime she would respectfully request the monsters to turn away. This skills will come in handy later in her quest to locate and assure the safety of all animals in Townsville.
Bubbles grew up with her sisters at Pokey Oak and would duel with her regular life and her superhero life. Throughout the years Bubbles volunteered at Foster he for imaginary friends and connected to Eduardo, who both shared picnic times together at Prickly Pines. She even considered to adopt Eduardo, and so she did until Princess kidnapped him, Princess was jealous of Bubbles relationship with Eduardo so she adopted all of Foster and abused them with tea parties and play pretends, enslaving the imaginary friends in the process to her will. Bubbles and Eduardo did foil her plans, understanding she put her friend’s life in danger Bubbles decided to return Eduardo to Foster, it was the first glimpse where Bubbles experienced sacrifice in her superheroine’s life.
Years later before the events of FusionFall, Mojo Jojo battles the Powerpuff Girls with his mech. A fatal blow sends Buttercup flying away beyond the sea, while Blossom lashed out on Mojo Jojo in a furious attack’ putting an end to the fight, Bubbles searched all throughout the world in search of her beloved sister with no result.

She returned home to find her dad grieving next to a statue memorizing her sister, now presumed a lost hero. Bubbles tried to consult her father but was met with an innocent ignorance from Utonium, he distanced himself from her playful manners due to his grief.
Bubbles was met with a much more serious and protective Blossom. The family decided to halt superhero activities for a time, Utonium retired from his work as the head scientist and connected between the Mayor to the aspiring company Dexlabs. Blossom would grow to distance herself from the situation, she wouldn’t talk to the emotionally filled Bubbles about their sister until the events of the game.

Planet Fuse arrives.
Initially, Bubbles decided to follow her sister’s footstep and toughen her image as well, serving as the Mayor’s right hand to damage control. She focuses on assuring the safety of Townsville’s animal inhibitors at Downtown, she would make a connection with Aday Lyon and Number 3 who shares the same goal’ Bubbles would be considered their leader and sends the two over the wilds to build a safe haven for the animals, what would later become the KND Jungle outpost.

Animal Safety - Storyline
The player first reaches Bubbles in her usual spot aside the Mayor at City Hall, Bubbles at first shows signs of seriousness, telling the players to not nag around. She sends them over City Hall, The Park, Orchid Bay and The Aquarium to protect the animals from fusion monsters and retrieve them to the KND Jungle Outpost. The animals seems to be missing.
All throughout the missions Bubbles is stern, somewhat cold to the players. Even the Mayor points out she’s far scarier than he remembers. After an accidental run in with Darwin, he offers a deep analyzation of Bubbles state of mind. After following the player into’s Fusion Darwin secret lair Bubbles, Darwin and the player find the missing animals. Bubbles points out ever since her sister’s disappearance she’s weary whenever she loses anything. Darwin manages to assure Bubbles that her sister would have want her to be her true self that when she’ll return, she will feel right back at home. It cheers up Bubbles
The Player takes out Fusion Darwin and returns to Bubbles which apologise about her weird behavior, she goes on telling about how her family has been affected by her sister’s disappearance and how they’ve been distancing themselves from talking about it.

Picnic! - Second Storyline
Bubbles plans a picnic in Prickly Pines for her family, where she wants to talk about how they’ve been dealing with Buttercup’s disappearance. The first mission sends the player to make up the picnic set. After returning for a reward Eduardo tells Bubbles that he saw Blossom destroying the picnic set. Bubbles is devastated.
The player gets his next mission from Utonium, who has hard times understanding why Bubbles won’t return his calls, the player informs him about the picnic events and is sent to Blossom to explain herself. Blossom is clueless as to what happened and send the player to Bubbles to explain it wasn’t her. Upon arriving to Bubbles she doesn’t accept to hear Blossom, they fight over the Nanocom. The player returns to Utonium who’s largely concerned about it, he says he’s going to Prickly Pines to investigate himself.
In the last mission Eduardo inform the character that he seen Utonium snitched by Blossom, Blossom overhearing the interaction quickly understands it was her fusion counterpart. The player reaches the secret lair to find Bubbles and Blossom there, the three roam through the lair, Blossom ask Bubbles why she wanted to have a picnic at the first place, Bubbles explain that they didn’t have time as family to process the disappearing of Buttercup together and she felt for a long time she had no one to vent to. Blossom apologies for her behavior. The two find Utonium fighting Fusion Blossom, Fusion Bubbles and Fusion Buttercup. The player and the Utonium family fight the fusions. Utonium realized that the fusions managed to get Buttercup’s DNA, but because her stuff were all still intact at their home the fusion spawn had to gather the DNA from a recent source, meaning that Buttercup is still out there.

Involvement with the rest of the cast:
Bubbles chats with Bubbie on regular bases and shows close signs of bonding with her. (Bubbie was the baby whale Bubbles sneaked home at one episode of PPG)

V.V Argost find it particular that Bubbles possess the ability to understand monsters, he sends the player with audio logs of certain monster for her translation. Bubbles if often clueless to Argost’s villainous desires.

Bubbles keep contact with Number Three and Adam Lyon as her informative members in the battle to save as many animals as they can. She grows a close friendship with the two.

Bubbles is considered an honorary member of the Space Chicken guild while despised by the Eggplant guilds due to her actions saving some of the Space Chicken that been loose in downtown and captured by Fusion Darwin.

Bubbles keeps a connection with Eduardo, even to a point where she sent Boomer to Foster, she believes that if her doppelganger will go the same route as she had gotten through, he’ll pick the same values as her. Boomer is largely annoyed by Eduardo but keeps level headed to impress Bubbles.
