Description
This was done for a recent freelance job, so I thought I would share it with everyone. I drew the sketch in Painter 9 and then traced in Illustrator then rendered in Photoshop CS2.Related content

It probably is. I did the rendering for Hot Wheels. The name of the Hot Wheel is Boneshaker.

Thanks! Hey I got to tell you your technical drawings are sick. I absolutely love the Cadi LMP car. In fact I sent a link to Hot Wheels to show them. I used to work there and they flipped over it.

how long did you work for them for?

For about two years from 2002 to 2004. I lived 55 miles one way to the design center and I drove straight into LA. I just couldn't handle the stress of the drive anymore. I have three kids and a wife so I felt like I never saw them. Plus a lot of political crap you have to put up with at a corporation. But it was cool and I do miss it every once and awhile, but like I said I still get to do freelance for them so I guess it all worked out.

I drew my elipses in Illustrator. But there is a snap to line tool in Painter that is very handy for that as well. But it is only in Painter 9. can draw an elipse with the line tool then snap you brsh to the line by holding cntrl, I think. It is something like that.

No prob. I plan on getting a tutorial up here soon and my plan is to get one done for Painter 9 and Photoshop CS 2 and I will show a few other tricks with combining tradtional techniques with digital.
