Haven't done any concept art stuff for awhile. I sketched this not too long ago in my sketchbook and decided to throw some color into it. The inspiration for this ship was a lion fish. This was probably about an hour on Photoshop CS2. Orginal sketch was done with a Pilot Hi tec C .3 pen in my sketchbook.Related content

It looks pretty good...not a lot of lift, but a good amount of speed... I'd worry about that dorsal wing though, since it might limit the vision of the pilot...or at least, you might want to move it behind the cockpit...all in all, this looks like a nice short-range fighter...for space combat?

Come on man, you heard of computer navigation systems, LOL. His helmet has a visual display and they found that aerodynamics are greatly improved with the multi wing configuration. It also provides high maneuverability and gives it the advantage in dogfights. You know I can pretty much come with a reason for anything, LOL.

LOL right on , Yea but see it is the year 2120 and pilots have gotten used to the fact they don't need to see everything, they feel it kind of like the force in Star Wars. wich turns out to be better that eye sight.

i may not know anything bout aircrafts and other vehicles, but your coloring technique is very amazing. i agree with the person earlier, you really should make a tutorial or a process of one of your full works.

nice one. Lovelly tectures and colours. One thing i might look at is maybe strengthenign the keyline on the front edge of that top (dorsal?) fin, so that it doesnt merge in to the one behind it too much.
