You're welcome! It's a true victory then! I'm just dabbling in most of what I upload here. I just do what I like and create in the realm I feel most resonant with at the time...if that makes sense.

Self motivated artists have no limits, unless resources might come about ( my variable from time to time being as such ).
It's that spark of inspiration that can be hard to follow. This was a commissioned piece along with the others in this series. A director hired me to do rotoscoped drawings of models he photographed during NYC fashion week. He had a photo session with this model from Italy and they literally shot him the first day he entered the U.S.

Wow! Cool! Yeah, I can only draw humans if I'm really in the mood to do it. Generally, I find the most inspiration in nature and tiny details, or perhaps a quote, or piece of music. The last piece I started is shattered glass, stemming from watching "Mockingjay" and feeling much like shattered glass when I left the theater. I really have a high respect for the artists who can draw the human form since it truly escapes me. I guess I'm not really as interested as I need to be to make it work. But even at that, I still have to be in the mood to draw/paint/glue/sew...whatever I'm working on in order for it to come out as a successful product. I can really tell when I forced myself to make something. The last humanoid form I created was a finger-painted mermaid for an art challenge. I managed a nice, water-smudged figure that was swimming away. I was satisfied with it, though. It looked like it belonged in a kid's storybook and it sparked another idea that I hope to start on soon.

Sounds like you work very well organically, that must be an invigorating process; enriching too.
Cinema , raw footage and music are my biggest inspirations at the moment, so I can relate to watching a movie and being ready to apply the concept. It appears you enjoy a similar line of action

Sometimes. My methods are sometimes a mystery even to me! XD But yes, there are probably some similarities from the sounds of it.
It's been cool talking with you and I am looking forward to seeing more of your work!
