One of the school works I have done so far during my exchange!

This is my work for Illustration unit/course called "The Society of Superstition and Phobia". I desided to do work about Finnish superstition, and ended up choosing very familiar Midsummer 'magic' for us Finnish people :'3
In this Midsummer's superstition it's told that if you collect 7 different flowers from the meadow during the Midsummer's eve, and place the flowers under your pillow, you will see in your next dream your future husband or wife!

I really enjoyed working on this piece~ Though choosing right colours caused some troubles and headache, and also the fact that this work was told to make in the size of A1! Sooo it's quite big l''D I'm worried that can I bring the printed version of this back to Finland with me.. I hope so!

The drawing is mixed traditional and digital art! I made first a pencil sketch in the size of A3, which I scanned to the computer. After scanning I added some colour on the top of the pencil sketch C: I really like myself the texture on this drawing, and I really like this traditional+digital mixing techique~

I have been working mostly on black and white Inktober drawings during this month, so it was so nice to do something colourful like this once in a while n__n
