Gaah! I picked the wrong category for the last two deviations... again!
Blahwell. More movement practice with the turtles! Mikey skipping or marching? Don and Leo are training, and Raph's just hanging around again.
Why do I do that pose for Raph so often?
... because it's hard to draw right! I still need more training Sensei!

Can I use this in my gift for my niece? She wants a coloring book, but I want to get her something better, so I was going to get a bunch of line art off DeviantART and print them out, put them in a book, and give them to her for Christmas as her own, one of a kind, coloring book.Β

When people draw him, it's hardly ever in a pose that suggestions action. More like he's posing for a camera holding his weapon. This is action. Must be because of the Bo ^_^

BEST. ADVICE. EVER that i discovered by accident..
when ur tryin 2 do a character pose or expression, look at urself in the mirror!
as long as u know th character well, u can draw th pose n then change urself into that character n it comes out lookin really accurate! (even though my character Beth always ends up with my figure and Tonroy always ends up wearing my clothes)

I about died when I saw Mikey's big, goofy smile. The way you draw him makes him seem even more child-like and goofy. It almost makes me forget Don's my favorite.

Cool. I like the flow of the movement. And Raph's pose looks really good. kinda cocky, likes he's looking at someone he's gonna pound all to soon. I love Don's pose as well. he looks amazing and the flow of motion is great! I might suggest darkening in Mikey's shell a little, but it all still looks awesome!

If you don't mind me advising, I find many artists say that copying others' art helps you improve.
Studying what makes another people's art look good is the key point, and copying is the easiest way. As long as you don't claim that copied art to be your own, copying is perfectly fine.

Hmmm. I may do that when I get some actual free time. You, Turtle Freak, Fire Reign, and a whole ton of others have a great grasp of the Ninja Turtle anatomy. I may borrow from some of you in the future; and I'll be sure to attribute the copied art to whomever I got it from.
