Tbh I draw too many floating heads so faces are something i enjoy drawing! (ITS HARD TO AVOID SAME FACE SYNDROME but different eye styles/facial structure really helps with that)
nggghh it's not good to say you're horrible! If you look at my old stuff (2012) you can probably see the difference. every artist will tell you but it really is all about practice, even if it's something annoying like hands you just gotta keep at it and use a lot of references for help! i still keep all my old drawings and it inspires me how much one can improve even in a short course of time, just as long as you keep at it

haha its in my sketch dump folder and fire emblem awakening folder. they're 4 years old but if you look at today and back then you could definitely see the improvement.
also throughout these years i didn't practice digital art as much as i should, I've only recently gotten back into it which is why most of my current art is mostly sketches!
you don't have to lol I just think it's helpful for people to see how others improve!

OH YEAH, i have a whole freaking drawer of them! i also have some digital art that i keep stashed on my mac for no one to see.... there were times i wouldn't draw at all but never for too long, and even then it was mostly traditional art.
i still have trouble with multiple people and backgrounds because i never really attempted it! so I'm hoping that roleplaying with people will get me more interested in broadening my horizons!

yeah mac! so i use this free software called fire alpaca, but i used to use paint tool sai and photoshop when i had a pc. TBH they're all somewhat similar but it all depends on how use you get to the pen and tablet (for lineart/even when I'm painting i start with a base linear and then keep rendering it) and then your methods used when coloring. lots of layers are always helpful and cleaner!
yeah well, it's possible i think...maybe, probably...to just practice using a pen and tablet cause they're almost the same medium, it's just a matter of preference. i personally feel like i have more control with a pencil in my hand. but since drawing is the foundation pencil is usually the place to start.
RPING ahhh I'm actually new to it as well! if you look at my applications those are the very first rp characters I've created so I'm a newbie too. look for an rp group that interests you and is open for enrollment!
I kinda just go with the flow, like people kinda just say something funny to my character and then i reply back in a way i think my character would respond (LOL LOOK AT JUN-HA'S COMMENTS I HAVE RPS ALL OVER THOSE). these interactions give me inspiration to draw something! it's way better and funner than just keeping ocs to yourself TOT.
I haven't actually done it with a group yet so i couldn't tell you. but i can imagine...okay, so imagine it like one person starts with a paragraph or so saying what their character is doing...another person would add on to this and so on and so on. just be sure to not take up too much of the spotlight and leave room for others to add in their character/share. that would be "literature" ring, basically writing a story and collaborating with another! script style is kinda boring but fun sometimes <: its basically just dialogue and action.

Same with me! Paint tool sai is the best to paint with! No photoshop, like, how do ppl draw in that?? So sad because no paint tool sai for mac, like, it was the first thing(s) i tried to get first time!

fire alpaca....it isn't as good as sai at first but i downloaded some brushes to help me with it. all my work now is fire alpaca 
lOL you're actually not supposed to draw in photoshop, just to finish things, but i was a young person so i didn't know any better back then
