Finally I got some inspiration AND the time to paint....lol I started to draw this during exam week (when I should've been revising)

The wings and the tendrils are drawn perfectly- I love the mist and how it almost appears to be see through- the orb too, the color stands out and it is beautiful.
Though the angle of her face is just a tad bit off (the eyes) and it would've been nice to see the goat-ish thing(I dunno if there is a name for it sorry! XD)'s face slightly on an angle to make things a little more interesting- though it is nice to have it looking directly at us. But yes! Great piece of work- I just cannot get over how smooth your lines are!

As always, you utilize dreariness and vagueness to compliment everything in your paintings. Even though many people employ this technique, everything does it differently, and I think you have made it your own. The only things that's bugging me a bit about the painting is that the monster in the background could use a bit more emphasis; I feel like make it have more detail, more...boldness.

You don't have to make him stand out. Just add a bit more detail. If you compare the girl and the monster, the girl has a bit more detail to her.
