Born to a pairing with a Wysp father and a Darter mother Dandelion is a bit softer and fluffier than the normal Darter. He's always seen as a bit hyperactive and is always on the move.

One of his greatest prides is that he's never been late to a delivery. He's always willing to take on extra work if the others in his hive are running behind.

Of course, it also helps that he's highly competitive. If time allows he likes to race others to destinations, or to see who gets all their work done. A lot of the others in the hive can't keep up with his energy, but a lot of them just want to humor him.

One of Dandy's favorites to race is the leader of the Gathering hive, Thyme. They have this ongoing rivalry for racing. Whenever he wins there's always a need to brag. At the moment the score is tied 30-30, but there's a race due soon and the loser is gonna buy lunch.

Speaking of Thyme, they are pretty much best buds. He loves to laugh at her horrible jokes and they generally spend all their time off together. There are rumors that they're dating, but those are unconfirmed.

Dandelion is also one of those ponies who has a large laugh, he's especially loud considering his small size.

Don't ever send him on a stealth mission.

The delivery hive acts as the postal service for the grotto. To be in this hive not only do you have to be fast, but you need a good way of tracking ponies down.
