is finally getting an update and bio.

I've re-done his markings and I'm liking this new version a lot better.

Inherent Trait: Ghosts of the Past - Chip is able to make visions or recreations of places that show what might have happened in that place in the past.

Bio: Chip is one of the first and few Dawnweavers to have hatched and been raised by Reina herself. As such he's had access to the history of his people from a very young age.

During his research he read about the Dawnweavers and how some of the ideals of them remaining 'pure' in the pursuit of greater magical prowess. He became infatuated with the idea of becoming a Great Mage, like his ancestors, so much that he's kind of turned into an asshole.

Chip has a very big superiority complex and looks down on the other species of the Grotto for being the 'lesser' and 'unpure' results of centuries of evolution. He comes off as rather snobbish and rude. Usually he won't let anyone near his dwelling or the Dawnweaver archives unless they do something for him.

While he may not agree with the 'new' Dawnweavers and their desire to taint their evolutions with traits from the other species, he's very willing to okay with teaching them Script magic and about their past and their people.

Scripts come in 5 varieties. But after the Great Dawnweaver War the last Script (Spirit) was lost to the ages. Chip is very dedicated to trying to find any trace of information on this Script and completing his halo. A halo that would mark him as a Great Mage.

His relationship with his mentor/mom Reina is a bit rocky. His blatant hatred for the impure members of the Grotto has kind of driven a wedge into their relationship and he knows it hurts her. Especially since she also falls into that category. Because of the guilt from his actions he normally tries to separate himself from her to avoid it. Of course, she always tries to drag him out whenever she can for some 'bonding' time.

-For a brief period of time he wanted Reina to call him Phaeron since he doesn't like the name Chip.
