Description
As is our Love.I've been trying this concept for two years now, and I never got it to work out the way I wanted it to until now. I'm amazingly happy with this photo, and how it turned out. This was also taken at Naples beach, the first time, on a much warmer, sunnier day than the one Brick was taken on.
Enjoy.

That's lovely. I've wanted to do something like this for a while...I love the idea of things written in sand.

I know that it isn`t, but at first sight I thought it was a homage to the victms of the tsunamis... Anyway, it a great concept...

Wonderful idea...wow, this caught my eye on that side panel thingy right away. It's exactly how I'm feeling, I wish something would just wash this feeling of unrequited love away from me. Beautiful photo.

Love is natures cruellest joke. The more you wish it'd go away and leave you alone, the more you know you'd perish without it.
Damn.
Nice pic.

very nice... the only thing that I don't like much (it doesn't mess up the photo for me though) are the many buubles because it reminds me of saliva... it's just what came to my mind when I firstly saw this pic... But it's GREAT...

It's so sad, so perfect, so beautiful, so true.....
Would you allow me to use it as a display picture for a poem I have here on DA? I'll give a link to your page and a link to this picture, too....my poem is titled 'Forever is Over' [link]

the simplicity is awesome! i have a poem that would fit it perfectly:
The Great Eraser
My blackboard is the soft white sand
which stretches out far on every hand.
I searched and found an empty shell
and wrote out the words that I could spell.
And the waves dashed on the sand to play
and washed my letters all away.
That is how I got the notion
the greate eraser is the ocean.
i know the poem is simple... but i wrote it when i was in 3rd or 4th grade!

Good thing I didn't see this a month or so ago... it would've been to painful. Fortunately things are ok now, and I can enjoy your image (quite a lot actually). You have a good reason to be proud. Congrats on the DD too!
