Description
Inspired by a cool guy I found on FurAffinity called RGibson, specifically his cartoony group pictures of mammals. He really brought extinct animals to life, so I thought I'd try. Not that mine is nearly as good of course. XDThese are creodonts, a parallel group to carnivores like cats and dogs. They were very diverse and filled a lot of the niches carnivores do today. They probably went extinct because they couldn't run as fast as carnivores, since they're plantigrade.
I took artistic license with them, so don't yell at me because they're off. D: I'm sure they didn't all have saber fangs but I think they look cuter that way. I also made up the markings based on what roles I think they'd have. The one with the crappily painted spots looks like a cross between a genet and an ocelot, I know. >_>
Anyone who guesses the four species is amazing~ Well, genus, not species. I'm not that exact D:
I started this in like January or something hah fail

All right except that was intended to be Sarkastodon, not Patriofelis. But the snout is a bit short so I can see why you said Patriofelis. I'm glad they're recognizable for the most part :3

More likely creodonts went extinct because they saved no teeth for any food other than meat, they were not plantigrade, they were semi-plantigrade.
