What I used to do when my geckos got bad sheds was put glycerine on it and try to roll it off with a q-tip or peel it off with tweezers. However, that used to only be on the head and feet. Not a tail, which is understandable that it would be hard to get off. Fear of it falling off. I had a gecko who was terrible with sheds, eventually got in her eyes, blinded her, and it went downhill from then. It was terrible. I remember giving her baths and when she was blind, she didn't know where the water was and nearly drowned sometimes. I still cry about it -- poor little girl didn't last more than 6 months

Sorry to hear about your gecko. Mine shed her skin again this weekend, I gave her a good soak and thankfully all the skin came off properly this time.

Take good care of her, make sure it's plenty warm in her tank. I had two in the past that got sick and never made it. Quite sad. As for this, I love it c:

Thanks! She had a bad shed and has skin stuck really badly on her tail, can't understand it cos she has a moist box that she uses. Even soaking and zoo-med shedding oil isn't shifting it :-/
