I did it ! Holy crap!
Appropriately, as I'm submitting this, "Chariots of Fire" is playing on Spotify.
I'm exhausted. This has been one heck of a ride. In only one month, I've churned out a picture a day, a pace that had me drained every single day, but I felt like I was doing something worthwhile. I'm down a pen, a job, and a lot of brain strain, but I've got quite a big, glowing sign in the form of a pile of completed work that says not only that I can do this, but I can learn while doing it.
I think the next step is to try something similar with humanoid characters, too.
Happy Fourth of July, everyone. I'm going to go have dinner with the family.
