Description
This is a companion piece to Mists and Fireflies using a bit of the same photograph. I decided to show how the fireflies came to be there. It is a fun little manipulation and I think would sit very well with the other piece.Related content

It's good concidering that you are just starting in with photo manips .. but the fire seems to just stand out a bit too much, doesn't blend conviencingly with the rest of the picture. Will take some work but I'm sure you will get the hang of it. ^-^

This is a lot of fun, I really like the wide border, especially since it looks like mist or smoke. The little fire flies flittering around in it is a nice touch. The fire is fun it has a lot of nice movement in it. The blue flames inside the fire is an interesting touch, makes me think that is where a firefly is being borne from the flames. I'm wondering if a few soft touches of yellow, blended in with the orange would really bring the fire to life. Though it looks just as good without it. I like the almost etheral feel to this image. Nice job!

I wasn't sure if that would have made it too busy... so I just used the two colors. I kept trying to figure out how to make the boarder smaller like the first but I couldn't the images were the same size and the boarders were the same size... I checked... I just let it go. As for the flitering fireflies out side the picture... I like that falling off the edge thing in pictures that you think it is framed but it isn't... Fantasy touching reality.
