You fear the dark.
I fear judgement.
You fear tall heights.
I fear persecution.
Yet, I shouldn't have to.
I live my life in fear.
Afraid of passersby.
Afraid of friends.
Afraid of family.
What if they see me?
Who I am.
Not who I pretend to be.
I am envious of you.
You live a normal life.
A life where you can be open.
You can talk to anyone.
I can't even leave my house.
So what if I like girls?
So what if she likes guys?
So what if he likes girls?
So what if he likes guys?
Can't you see that we are all exactly the same?
What you feel with him,
I feel the same with her.
Our hearts are the same.
We are human, and so we are the same.
But why aren't we the same?
What I do with my life-
How does it affect yours?
I am suffocating.
Feeling claustrophobia when I am not claustrophobic.
Afraid to close my eyes.
Afraid to open them.
Afraid to speak.
Afraid to be silent.
Afraid to live.
Afraid to die.
Why doesn't anyone hear me?
Why doesn't anyone help me?
But then, don't you wonder...
Would someone help me if I was just like you?
