YAAAY my first boy drawing in FOREVER! I quite like the expression on his face. oh, and he is doing that awesome one eyebrow down one eyebrow up thing, but his hair is hiding it
Fiyero is saying "excuse me? there are no pretends here. I happen to be genuinely self absorbed and deeply shallow." my FAVORITE Fiyero line <3what do you like? what can I improve on? tips? please comment! =]
I dont own Wicked, but I do own this drawing soooo nooo stealing. not that you would want to steal this drawing, but you know I have to say it XD

yay! It's kind of a war story between to countries in the 15 and 1600's. it's fictional, so they're not real countries. and there's this legendary hero that's supposed to come to save them someday but he never comes until(spoilers alert!! I can't say anymore!! lol)
I don't want to upload any more just because I think if you post too much of a story on websites like this, people won't want to publish it... and of course I don't want anyone to copy and paste it into microsoft word and say they wrote it.

tips tips tips tips tips...ok, i have some
1) with guys, their lips aren't quite as prominent as girls', so making the upper lip stand out isn't always necessary
2) try experimenting with different eye types. you might find one that looks better on guys than girls, and it could help differentiate between them
3) with eyebrows, sometimes people just draw them over the hair so they're visible, but depending on how realistic you want it to look this might not be the best option (you could always try to make the forhead a bit bigger or the hair shorter 
4) make his arms more muscular so he looks more masculine
...aaaaaaand that's about all i can think of. hope those help!

oooh, thanks a lot! yeah, about the lip one I know, I tried to make it thinner but it kinda failed
oooh I meant to put up the reference pics! I only used them for the clothing though, had no one really in mind for the face XD

ah ok haha, if I try to make a person look too much like a real actual person then I end up messing it up XD I just usually look at parts from reference pictures that are troubling me XD
