Wanted to try out this challenge for a while now and I finally was able to during my small amount of free time!

This form is from SassyHonks (I edited it a bit-) and this challenge was inspired by MalisTLK

I think this honestly the first time I'm showing tlk ocs? I don't talk much about them due to not having someone else to talk about them lol, but I wanna draw them and so I did. So here everyone from left to right.

KiaraxKovu

A few months in Queen Kiara’s new rein was a bit hectic. Kiara was still handling being queen, the Pridelands were still needed to be nurtured (I like the idea that the lands haven't healed fully yet, during Simba’s rule), and she gave birth to her first and only litter a few weeks into her reign. She gave birth to Zuka, heir to the throne and eldest, and Mbali her youngest, is the future guard leader.

Zuka is known for his stern and serious attitude, preferring to keep himself quiet and observant. During his childhood, Zuka was often dragged by his sister and cousin on adventures. Often saving them from their idiotic mistakes. As he grows older the prince has rather slowly gotten used to ordering and making smart decisions, which he takes great pride in when his mother sees how well he's doing. But sometimes he worries that others won't trust him or he won't be able to help return the Pridelands to its former glory.

Mbali is the youngest and second born. As a child she was wild and a bit reckless, like her mother, but desperate to show her worth to her family. She followed her mother around to see if she needed help, took extra classes, and overworked herself during her guard training. During her younger years, Mbali agreed to be engaged to a prince of a nearby kingdom to help her kingdom. Many other kingdoms were allies during Mufasa’s rule, and Simba scrambled to keep these alliances due to not wishing to keep arranged marriages. Kiara brought back the tradition quickly, and Mbali was engaged to be someone's queen. Mbali wanted to do this for her family, but as the years went by closer to her wedding day, she slowly thinks that maybe she should've thought harder about her choice...

Despite what others said about a young couple getting married, these two made it work. Sure there were a lot of ups and downs, arguments, and apologies, but they got through it together. Soon when Rani was old enough she had her heir and only daughter, Fayola. During her childhood, Fayola was quiet and shy, not wanting to socialize with anyone besides her close small family. She loved to stick by her uncle, Baliyo, and to do whatever he does. Fayola sees him more like a bother figure than an uncle sometimes. As she grows older Fayola becomes a bit more social but is still nervous and shy when talking to others. She wants to make her parents proud by becoming the best ruler they see her as, but at the same time, she doesn't know if she wants to rule. Fayola likes to sew new places and go exploring, but she guesses that's a different dream.

Vitani

Vitani never thought she would become a parent nor fall in love, but life proved her wrong. Zuri recently left a toxic boyfriend to find herself pregnant with her son, Fayez. When he was born Vitani took it upon herself to help the new mother and co-parent a lot when she was off hunting. The two soon fell in love and happily raise Fayez as a family.

Fayez is sly, sassy, yet encouraging. He follows his younger cousin, Kanoni, a lot on adventures and works hard to impress others. When Mbali was sent to be engaged Fayez took The rule of the future leader of the guard. He spent months practicing and training to become the best, to help keep the kingdom in order and make his mothers proud. But sometimes Prince Zuka believes that Fayez is too childish to lead the guard and doesn't like to hear his advice.

Kopa

Kopa left his family during his teen years to follow and get married to his best friend, Prince Afua, in the Rocklands. The two adopted a young abandoned cub named Laila and happily raised her as their own. Laila is a laid back and zen lioness, she doesn't show much emotion besides feeling calm and happy. Many who meet her thinks she's not paying attention sometimes, but she's very observant. Laila is clever and strong, and sometimes likes to show off her abilities when sparing. Laila is also quite big for a lioness, often shocking suitors.

Nuka

Despite his unfair life, Nuka fell in love in his early teen years with a lioness named Doa. Their relationship seemed odd but they loved each other and wanted the best. When Nuka died Doa gave birth to his daughter, the great grandchild of the mad king Scar, Kanoni. Much to everyone’s joy, Kanoni looked and acted a lot like her late father. She was spunky, a ball of happiness, and wild. Kanoni often went on crazy explorations during her childhood. As an adult, she still likes to wander off, much to her mother's dismay, and is very interested in rogues. She wants to hear of their travels and listen to odd tales. Sometimes she wishes she could be one. Kanoni is very close to her cousin Fayez, seeing him as a brother and best friend.

Your Choice

I took a while figuring out who I wanted to put here, from Mbali’s future mate to one of my rogue characters, but I decided to pick my version of who I think Mheetu is. Mheetu was born just a few days after Scar’s death, his mother is Sarafina and Nala’s only brother. His mother was quite old when he was born, but took care of him until she passed suddenly from a strange sickness during his childhood. He was then raised by a bunch of caretakers and as well by Nala. He was only a young teenager when his niece and nephews were born and also helped care for them too. Mheetu left the Pridelands when his mane grew in, to seek new things and find his true calling.

Mheetu doesn't like to refer to himself as “Scar’s son” and keeps to himself mostly. He's clever and charming, often escaping danger before it catches him. Mheetu likes to visit his family from time to time but feels uneasy whenever other lions point out his green eyes. He's a little afraid of getting close to strangers, afraid what they due if they knew who is father was...
