Description

I've seen a lot of trends going around about doing Warrior cats design challenges and I wanted to try! So I've done it in order from favorite cat to least favorite cat. And please be warned that I haven't read all the books, only the first arc and half into the second arc. Maybe I'll catch up, but probably not =w=
So some things I do know from spoilers, but if there's something I mess up on or missed please let me know! Anyway, here are the designs!

-Squirrelflight-
So first up we have my favorite, Squirrelflight! I gave her little cheeks and a round neck fluff from her dad Firestar and her markings are from Sandstorm. I love it when another artist gives Squirrel freckles so I had to give her some. She is my favorite design out of all of them.
I knew when I listen to her in the first book and how others draw Squirrel I immediately loved her. A short kitty with red fur and very fluffy? 100% up my alley. Though I wish they'd given her more to her story besides finding new territory, having bad relationships, and taking in her sister's kids. Don't get me wrong I love her, but I wished during the second arc that there was a book about where Squirrel runs off to find help from some danger and she meets others, learns that she doesn't have to deal with Brambleclaw, and Ashfur, and just becomes an ultimate girl boss. You know what? Make her leader of Thunderclan already we've been waiting for years now.

-Longtail-
Longtail's design took the longest to figure out. In the books, he's pictured as a sliver tabby with a long tail, but his design from Warriors SSS became so popular a lot of people drew him a light tan color. I went back and forth with multiple ideas and he finally came out looking so GOOD. Longtail has a sandy yellow-brown color, I made him spikey and curved his stripes. I also love how the hair tuft came out, it looks so good. I was going to add his long tail in here too, but it just looked odd for some reason. Maybe I'll do a full-body design of him one day.
I love Longtail with a passion, he's my favorite character from the first arc and was the reason I got into Warrior Cats. I saw a MAP of Longtail and I was hooked, I wish they had a scene between him and Fireheart where they have a heart-to-heart and become friends. And in my opinion, Firestar should've made him deputy. Sure Greystripe is his friend but he left Thunderclan to be with his kids and a lot of cats didn't trust him when he came back. Longtail on the other hand stayed in Thunderclan even though a lot didn't trust him because of Tigerstar. He stayed loyal and soon grew to respect Firestar. I also wished he didn't retire early, he could've stayed a warrior even though blinded. It would've been so cool to see him still fight in battles even though blind.
Also, his friendship with Mousefur is adorable! I love them so much omg- I want a whole book of Longtail and Mousefur just having fun together.
I love this long lad so much I could talk about him for hours.

-Mothwing-
With Moth here I tried to make her have both siamese and tabby cat markings and I like how she looks. I also gave her more fluff than Bramble and she looks bigger too. I like to think that out of all the Tigerstar clones Mothwing is the biggest of them. Imaging her towering over Bramblestar is so funny to me.
I like Mothwing out of all the medicine cats. She doesn't believe in (the cult-) Starclan and she is a lesbian no questions about it. They have so much potential with a medicine cat who doesn't trust Starclan, I want a book about her just defying Starclan and doing something crazy, like running away with Leafpool. I want to see what would happen. It would be nice to read a book about her.

-Ashfur-
Ash, I got a little creative. I added some dots and some scruffy long cheeks to make him look a little scraggly. I like to think he's tall but more scrawny than your average cat. I didn't really care much for Ashfur, to be honest. With his recent books of how he pocessed a living cat and tried to destroy heaven and hell, were pretty interesting though. I honestly wished that he went more psycho during his time alive. Like him seeing Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw being mates and seeming to just forget he and Squirrel ever had a thing. I would've LOVED to see him go crazy a little. Like slowly starting to attack all cats that are friendly to her, Ash starts to believe that he and she are still mates and Bramble is just keeping her captive. Slowly starting to think of Squirrel needs him, but she just doesn't know it yet. What if he killed Firestar in the fox trap? What if he tried to take over the clan? I'm curious if he would've gone down this route instead of just, processing Bramble a few years later. Don't get me wrong I heard that how he dies is interesting, but I wish he went a little crazier in the beginning.

-Leafpool-
With Leaf here, I made her more tabby than Squirrel, but I still gave her the round cheeks and freckles. I wanted her more small and thin looking, but tall too. Not sure if I got that right but she came out alright.
I don't like Leafpool now as much as I did in the first arc. She had a lot of potentials but I think she lost it a lot because she was mostly a camera in the second arc. Pretty big loss, I honestly think it would've made a better narrative if her struggle was more of Leafpool trying to stay best friends with Mothwing but keeping a close eye on Hawkfrost. She should've fallen in love with Moth, c'mon let them be lesbians.

-Bramblestar-
Bramble is often known to look a lot like his dad, so I made him look like him but he's shorter than he looks and more round. I like the brown color I did, maybe I'll make it lighter but right now it looks alright.
I will say I don't like Bramblestar, I believe the authors kinda ruined him. I liked Bramblepaw, with him cutting his dad out of his life and not wanting to be like him. But when he became deputy and leader they just ruined what type of character the authors wanted him to be. In my opinion, he should've just stayed a warrior and not worked at ALL with his dad, maybe have him more worried about what Hawkfrost is up to. I wish they didn't make him leader, should've had someone else.
-----------

Anyways these are my designs for the warrior cats series!! Let me know who I should draw next! I want to try to do more of these! And another fun question- What would you rewrite if you could rewrite these characters' stories? Let me know!
